Mané, one of Liverpool’s most influential players this season, had to be taken off during Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby on Saturday after damaging his knee.

The extent of the 24-year-old’s injury is still inconclusive due to swelling, but according to The Times, Mané may still need an operation that would end his season.

The Senegalese forward has scored 13 times in 29 appearances for Klopp’s team since joining from Southampton in the summer for a fee believed to be around €38m.
