The Chairman of the League Management Company of Nigeria (LMC), Mallam Shehu Dikko has assured of the readiness of his organization to be firm in interpreting the rules of the game without any bias.
“What happened at the Week 1 fixture in Kano is regrettable and the management of Ifeanyi Ubah has apologised and promised that such will never happen again. However I can add that it is a blessing in disguise because it has opened our eyes and any club that steps out of the line will be punished without fear or favour.
“We at the LMC are working hard to ensure that our league becomes more family friendly where families will be happy to go and watch matches and return home without any adverse incident. We are building a league where there will be zero tolerance for hooliganism and the win at home mentality.”
