El Hadji Diouf’s mad ramblings continue as he takes another swipe at Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as well as hinting at a potential role in politics.
Following his notoriously ill-disciplined playing days, Diouf now works as a sport advisor for Senegal’s president Macky Sall.
After his publicised war of words with Gerrard in the past, Diouf lifted the lid on his feud with the former England international.
He told the BBC: “I have no problem with him.
“He [Gerrard] is a strong character and I am a strong character.
“‘Stevie G’ was a very good player.
“People like him in Liverpool but he never did anything for his country.
“I am Mr El Hadji Diouf, Mr Senegal but he is Mr Liverpool and Senegal is bigger than Liverpool and he has to know that.”
