Paris Saint-Germain starlet Kylian Mbappé feels very honoured by the comparisons made with Thierry Henry, but urges that “he is not a copy of anyone.”
The French youngster won the prestigious Golden Boy award this week at the age of 18 and has been compared with Arsenal legend Henry already.
“It’s an honour to me,” Mbappé told Tuttosport regarding the comparison with his compatriot. “But it does not impact me.”
“I want to be known as myself, not as someone else’s copy. I know people expect a lot from me, but I’m not that player who leaves a mark on every game.”
