Keen Real Madrid fan and tennis great Rafael Nadal said he won’t discount becoming president of the famed Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the future.
When the 14-time Grand Slam winner initially made huge strides on the clay court as a youngster just after the turn of the century, it soon became apparent he was a fervent Los Blancos follower. This is despite his uncle, Miguel Angel Nadal, representing Clasico rival Barcelona for eight years.
“If you ask me if I would like it, of course I would, why not?” Nadal told El Mundo of a potential spell as Real president, as reported by The Evening Standard’s Sam Long. “But there is more to it – I think it will not be.”
