NFF Slams N4m Fine On NPFL Side, Rangers FC

The Nigeria Football Federation Disciplinary Committee has slammed a N4m fine on Rangers International of Enugu.

This heavy punishment is coming barely three weeks after the League Management Company (LMC), fined the Nigeria Professional Football League champions N2.7m.

The committee, which sat in Abuja yesterday, came down heavily on the Flying Antelopes for crowd disturbance and misconduct during a league match against Abia Warriors on January 21, 2016.

The committee after considerations of the available facts contained in a written submission by Match Commissioner and Referee’s reports, concluded that Rangers should pay the sum of N750,000 for their failure to ensure restriction of unauthorized persons from restricted areas.
