Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier has been charged for assaulting a police officer.
The incident dates back to May, when Aurier allegedly insulted and hit a police officer outside a nightclub in Paris.
He has been charged with a 2-month jail sentence and a €2100-fine, but he won’t have to do any time in jail as his sentence is ‘convertible’.
Aurier has announced that he’ll appeal the decision as he doesn’t agree with it.
Earlier this year Aurier caused more fuss when a video emerged in which he called his former coach Laurent Blanc a ‘faggot’ who ‘kissed Zlatan’s you know what’.
