Cristiano Ronaldo told Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski that Madrid was the place for him following their clash in the quarter finals of the Champions League, according to AS.

According to the Spanish outlet, Florentino Pérez also spoke with Lewandowski and asked about his family.
Bayern renewed the Pole’s contract only a few months ago until 2021, making him the best paid player in the Bundesliga. He went from €8m to €15m-a-year with the add-ons taking his total salary to around €17m.
The Bundesliga champions hoped the new deal would fend off interest from European giants such as Real Madrid, but the report suggests otherwise.
