Pictures of former Golden Eaglets’ captain, Wilson Oruma flooded the social space today when it was gathered that he has suffered relapse of emotional disorder.
Completesportsnigeria.com had reported that Oruma who later featured for the gold medal-winning Nigerian squad at the Atlanta ’96 Olympics as well as the France ’98 Super Eagles was reportedly duped of N1.2b investment six years ago.
The publication quoted Emakpor Dibofun, a close friend of the player who led Nigeria to win the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1993 as saying that Oruma’s condition had gone from bad to worst.
“Wilson Oruma hasn’t really recovered from the emotional disorder which he suffered after he was duped.
“He has been to several places in search of lasting solution, but it gets worse after a bit of improvement”.
He played alongside Nwankwo Kanu, Celestine Babayaro at the Japan’ 93 when Nigeria won the world u-17 title of the second time.
