Roger Federer has been named as 2016’s most stylish man by GQ magazine to add another string to his already well-strung bow.
The Swiss tennis ace has won just about everything he can in his sport and is the most successful man to have ever played the game.
Having shown himself to be handy at making his way through a Grand Slam draw, Federer breezed through the 64-man competition to be crowned as 2016’s style icon.
The 35-year-old beat (in order) One Direction singer Zayn Malik, actor Ryan Gosling, actor Steven Yeun, rapper Kanye West and actor Jared leto before cruising past Thor actor Tom Hiddleston in the final.
Federer won more than 60% of the vote, in what will be seen as a comfortable straight-sets victory.
The 17-time Grand Slam winner has been absent from the ATP Tour since a Wimbledon semi-final defeat to Milos Raonic but is due to make his return in January.
And the undeniably most suave man in tennis will make his comeback on top of the fashion world.
